Celebrating the January Boys

We had all the North Carolina family over yesterday to celebrate our January Boys. The meal was simple, shredded BBQ chicken sandwiches, pasta salad, fruit salad, green salad. I made giant cupcakes for the birthday boys. I also made Mint brownies for everyone else.
The kids had so much fun playing together. The girls all gathered in Kenna and Andey's room and after a while they resurfaced wearing make-up. Lots and lots of make up. It was sweet because Joleigh is now in the big girls group and was loving every single minute. It was loud and chaotic and super fun. Then within a matter of 30 minutes it went from chaos to quiet. Everyone left at the same time and I threw the kids in bed and voila. Perfect evening.
